Who we are. Halfacre Research is a trade name of Halfacre Research Institute LLC, an Alabama limited liability company ("Halfacre Research," "we," "us"). We are a research and data company. We publish research modules, data packs, trading software, and data covering many markets: stocks, dividends, ETFs, mutual funds, metals, commodities, crypto, macro, and IRA rules.
Not advice. Everything we publish is general and impersonal. It is the same for every reader and is not tailored to anyone's finances, goals, or risk tolerance. It is not investment, financial, tax, legal, accounting, insurance, or retirement-planning advice, and it is not an offer or recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security, commodity, crypto asset, or account type. Halfacre Research is not registered as an investment adviser with the SEC or any state, is not a broker-dealer, commodity trading advisor, or commodity pool operator, and is not a law firm, CPA firm, or tax preparer. No attorney-client, adviser-client, fiduciary, or other professional relationship is created by using our site, products, or AI features.
You decide. You are responsible for your own decisions. Before acting on anything you learn here, consider talking with a licensed financial professional, a CPA or enrolled agent, or an attorney who knows your situation.
Risk. Investing and trading can lose money, including your whole investment. Crypto assets, commodities, leveraged products, and derivatives can be especially volatile. Automated or algorithmic trading adds risks of its own: software bugs, connection failures, exchange outages, bad data, and fast losses that happen before you can react.
Past performance and backtests. Past results do not guarantee future results. Backtested, hypothetical, or simulated results are prepared with the benefit of hindsight, do not reflect real trading, and have built-in limits. Real results can be very different.
Data accuracy. Our data comes from public and third-party sources that we name in each product. Data can be wrong, late, incomplete, revised, or interrupted. Some datasets are frozen snapshots and do not update. We provide data "as is" and do not guarantee it is accurate, complete, or current.
AI features. Your client page uses an AI model from an outside provider (xAI's Grok). AI answers are generated automatically and can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date, even when they sound confident. AI answers are not advice from a person and are not reviewed by a professional before you see them. Do not rely on them alone for any money, tax, legal, or retirement decision.
Tax and retirement topics. Tax and retirement rules change often and depend on your facts. Our IRA and tax research summarizes public IRS material. It is not tax advice and cannot tell you what is right for you.
Third-party links and services. We link to or work with other services, such as PayPal, exchanges, and data sources. We do not control them and are not responsible for them.
